Hosting a giveaway is a great way for users to share your content, and by linking your content through to a submission form or landing page you’ll have the opportunity to capture the contact details of each entrant.

Ensure you are aware of and adhere to the ever-changing social media rules and regulations that vary with each platform.

Use paid social media advertising

With social media networks constantly evolving and now offering the ability to target highly specific audiences with paid ads, there’s no better time to start using them to generate leads for your business.  By using paid ads, not only will you increase your visibility, but you can specifically target audiences based on the demographics, location, and interests that best suit your target market.

Use gated content

Gated content is any form of content on your website that can only be accessed by visitors once they have provided some form of contact information; usually an email address. If the content is valuable enough, enticed users will be willing to hand over their information in exchange for entry to your blog post, webinar or video content.

It’s easy to fall into the habit of gating all content that you post, but don’t! Create a balance of gated and non-gated content to optimize clicks.
