Our evening at the Northamptonshire Business Awards

Last Thursday, we had the privilege of attending this years’ Northamptonshire Business Awards hosted at the Park inn Hotel, sponsored by Wilson Browne Solicitors; it was a great night with a tremendous 340 attendees – the most they’ve ever had! 

The prestigious event hosted by the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce is a yearly event that celebrates business excellence within the Northamptonshire region. 

As well as attendees, we were also Sponsors (for the first time) of the ‘Customer Commitment Award’ category and were nominees for  ‘High Growth Business’ of the year. The categories are used to represent and champion the variety of business specialities and expertise within the region. Each award is open to businesses who can demonstrate how they have excelled within their sector of work. 

This year, a ‘new normal’ category was introduced to celebrate the business that adapted well under the circumstances of the past year. We were also fortunate to have witnessed a surprise ‘Special Recognition’ Award presented to the President of the Chamber, Kevin Rogers, by the Director of Northants Chamber, Sunny Singh. Kevin was awarded this in celebration of everything he does for the local business communities across the region; it truly was an honour to witness. 

We didn’t pick up a winners plaque this year; however, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the lovely people we interacted with. Every category was full of worthy winners, and it was a great socializing occasion, with a great atmosphere – an all-around wholesome night! 

With the last year considered, it was just the breath of fresh air we all needed, and what a great way to kick start the upcoming festive party season? 

We’d like to issue out a massive thank you to the Northamptonshire Chamber, who made it all happen and went out of their way to host and accommodate us as all – as usual. We’d also like to issue out our gratitude to Martin and Kerry Lewis-Stephenson from Business Times, who kindly graced us with their presence throughout the night; it was a pleasure to be amongst you all and Northants finest! 

We look forward to next year and the possibility of winning an award!
